Clary Sage Essential Oil is a well renowned essential oil; loved by many for its many positive properties. It's intense, relaxing scent can be especially useful in stressful conditions and may be helpful in balancing emotions and promoting feelings of calm and tranquillity. It can also be used in massage to help ease aches and pains, whilst also offering a sense of balance for women suffering from pre-menstrual stress.
It's also thought to be beneficial for both oily and dry skin types due to its balancing properties.
 
To Use: Use in skincare to help balance oily, acne prone skin dilute to a maximum of 1% with a base cream or lotion. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to help ease stress and tension. Add a few drops to a bath to help calm the mind and help wind down before bed. Diffuse in a traditional burner or fragrancer to help create a relaxing atmosphere in the home.
 
Blends Well With: Clary Sage blends beautifully with many other oils, but particularly well with Lavender, Bergamot, Rose and Geranium.
 
Safety: Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
