Lemon Essential Oil is a lovely, refreshing and uplifting oil. Naturally cleansing, its antiseptic properties make it a popular oil to incorporate into household cleaning. It's reviving properties also makes it a popular choice to help balance and clarify the skin and hair.
It is a purifying oil and a lovely one to have in the burner if you have lots to get on with; its fresh and zesty aroma will help clear the mind and promote clarity of thought, whilst also clearing the air of bad odours!
Magickally: Cleansing, purification, love, strength.
To Use: Add 25-20 drops to a 100ml spray bottle and use as a surface cleaner in the home. Add 2-3 drops to a traditional burner or electric fragrancer to help repel bad odours and fill the air with its fresh and fruity fragrance. Add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner to help refresh the hair. In massage it should always be diluted to no more than 1% before skin application. Lemon is another oil that is good to add to your existing skin care or beauty products. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a base lotion or cream to help purify and refresh the skin.
Blends Well With: You may find that Lemon blends particularly well with Lavender, Rose,
Sandalwood, Benzoin, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Fennel, Juniper & Neroli.
Safety: Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
