Tea Tree has long been renowned for its amazing natural medicinal properties. Those qualities as well as its effectiveness against bacteria mean that Tea Tree has been known to be used in hospitals to help fight against various bacteria and viruses.
Australian Aborogines have used it in medical treatment for thousands of years. It is believed to be 11 to 13 times as strong as carbolic acid.
You can add it to a cream to help soothe skin irritations (always dilute to a maximum of 1%). You might also like to use it with one of our wide range of vaporisers or a burner to diffuse the oil at home if there are coughs and colds flying around. You can also try adding it to your shampoo to help combat dandruff. A true all-rounder and a must for every household!
Its a great oil to incorporate into household cleaning as a natural disinfectant as well as using in skincare to help reduce breakouts of acne, calm conditions such as athletes foot and help offer balance to oily hair types. Tea Tree is an incredibly versatile oil and is one of the most widely used of essential oils.
